Today I went for a walk to take pictures of the lilacs in full bloom near my house. The lovely pastel colour and the subtle smell made me so happy! I also spent most of the weekend reading a Liane Moriarty book (almost in one sitting) and listening to podcasts. I feel like I can finally relax and enjoy my summer break. Even if it's not technically a break, because for the first time in my life, I am working full-time at a job that I love. In the past few weeks, I've been in the company of wonderful people, learning so many things and contributing to something that means a lot to me. This is probably the reason why I've been less present on social media and on my blog. I've been trying to enjoy everything that's happening without feeling like I need to share everything with the world. But this doesn't mean I won't be posting anymore, I've just decided that I do not want to be pressured to do so. I also want to enjoy my free time by spending it with people I love, reading more books and soaking all that wonderful sunlight before it's gone.

I've also been preparing something really exciting... my Swedish bestie will be visiting at the end of the summer and we are also going to travel to New York City together! It feels so surreal, especially since the last time I saw her was almost two years ago when I travelled to Scandinavia.

Another thing that will be happening this summer is my 20th birthday. I still can't really get my head around the fact that I will be entering my twenties! But I guess I'm a real adult now who enjoys to do the laundry and go to bed early hahaha! Another thing I've been doing is to slowly but surely change my mentality around clothes, consumption and quality. I'll talk about this more in a post very soon.

So I guess that's all for my little update, happy Sunday! xo

That Summer Feeling
