Sleep has been an issue for me in the past couple weeks. It’s so unpredictable. Some days I will have a good restorative sleep, but very recently I’ve started experiencing insomnia in its absolute worst form. The first time it happened, I did not even sleep for 5 minutes and had to cancel my plans for the next day as I felt so sick. When asked about it, I could confidently say that it was because the stress of not falling asleep that made me not fall asleep. I watched the hours go by, doing everything in my power to rest in the arms of Morpheus, from using ear plugs, to wearing a sleep mask, lowering the room temperature, and even counting sheep. Thankfully, this is not chronic and has only happened three times since the beginning of the year. However, every night I worry about it…

On the flip side, I’ve also had some of my best night's’ sleep recently. A few times, I did not even wake up in the middle of the night and saw the morning light 9-10 hours after going to bed (and that was when I went to sleep at 8:30 pm).
