Not so long ago, I couldn't even style my hair properly. Other than straightening them, or tying them in a ponytail/messy bun, I couldn't do much else. That's why I think I kept cutting them in a bob, because it meant less trouble for me. However, in the last couple of months, maybe a year ago, I started experimenting with products and a curling iron. And since I've pretty much let them on their own for all my life, they aren't damaged at all (which is good).I'm still not very skilled with the iron, so I always do the same type of curls. I use a basic iron with a clip, but I don't use the clip. I simply roll my hair around the iron, by making sure I do layer by layer. This way, it looks a little bit like a blow dry, with lots of volume.

To add even more volume, I've also been using a texturizing spray, the one by The Ouai. Let's just say that you'll be hooked on the first time you use it. The smell is incredible, it doesn't make a residue in the hair, and it is simply magic! This texturizing spray is described as the baby of hairspray and dry shampoo. For now, I've only used it to give volume into my curls, but I'm planning on using it on casual days too just to give volume to my hair, and absorb oils.

I'm looking forward to trying other products of this range because I'm a little bit obsessed with them and everything around Jen Atkin (the owner of the line, and hairdresser of the Kardashians). All Ouai products are free of sulfates, phthalates, and sulfates. It is also cruelty-free and made in the US. They are available mostly on Sephora's website, but I've seen this texturizing spray and a treatment mask at the Sephora stores.

Have you tried Ouai products? Love. S.
