This book belongs:

- to a natural-born feeder

- on the kitchen counter

- to someone with impeccable taste

Recently, I have been thinking about one thing and one thing only: cooking. I guess it’s the natural first step to take when fully becoming an adult. I’m dreaming of meal planning, hosting dinner parties for my friends and organizing a book with all my favourite recipes. Thankfully, I was gifted the most beautiful cookbook, Let Me Feed You by Rosie Daykin, and it’s enabling all my cooking envies!

At first glance, it is also an ultra-chic coffee table book. The colour palette is delicate and the photos are beautiful. The introduction was so nicely written, and it was a nice ‘invitation’ from the writer to get into her world and cook her recipes.

There are 9 different chapters including everything from breakfast, bread, sandwiches, soups, salads, dinner, sides, condiments, and desserts. All the recipes are easy to follow and made with simple ingredients. I’ve already bookmarked all the ones I want to try and I’m more than excited to taste them. It’s comfort food at its finest!

The best part about it? The sections are interspersed with fun and useful tips like her house rules and some of her pantry staples. I will be looking at this cookbook every single day until I get tired of it (which means never).

What is your favourite cookbook?
