Beautycounter is amongst my favourite beauty brands (if you can't tell by all my reviews). And I have to say... their skincare is always on point! Today I'm sharing with you my review of their Beautycounter+ Plumping collection, a collection targeted for dry skins and formulated with peony and jasmine. As always, the brand uses safe ingredients, which I love! The set includes a facial oil, a facial mist, and a face mask. Product are sold together and separately. See here.
I met Christy Coleman, the chief artist officer at Beautycounter (and celebrity makeup artist) last December and it reinforced my love for the brand. She was the most down-to-earth woman, talking about skincare and makeup with such a passion. She also explained the benefits of using clean products and the effects chemicals have on our system.
No. 2 Plumping Facial Oil
My favourite product of the collection! This facial oil smells of jasmine and is made with a blend of 7 different oils. I love how moisturizing it is, it sinks in the skin in a beautiful way. Before going to bed, I like to massage it on my face and I wake up the next day with a glowy complexion. The product comes with a pipette, which makes the application so much easier. If you have to try only one product from Beautycounter, I suggest you try one of their face oil!
No. 2 Plumping Facial Mask
This face mask is made with kaolin clay, peony roots, and konjac roots. I used this product a few times so far, and it left my skin smooth, and deeply cleansed. I am usually reticent to use clay masks thinking my skin will feel dry afterwards, but this one was the complete opposite! And bonus points because it is a pink mask...
No. 2 Plumping Facial Mist
This will be my best ally in the summer... A face mist that you can use to refresh your face, prep your face before makeup or to set makeup. It smells incredible and leaves a dewy finish to the skin (my favourite kind of finish). And it is alcohol-free!
Beautycounter+ also includes a Balancing and a Brightening collection!
