I don’t talk about beauty on here as much as I used to. But the truth is that I’m not a beauty expert, makeup isn’t really my thing (I have a very minimal approach to makeup), and I believe I have found my holy grail skincare products already. Which is why it is hard for me to test new products because I have no desire to replace the ones I already use (although a few more serums can never hurt, and I desperately want to try the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask). Today I wanted to round up my top 5 skincare products of all time. You might have seen me talk about them before but here is the edited version. Here we go…
1- Milky Jelly Cleanser - Glossier
My friends are probably so tired of hearing me talk about this product but it completely changed my life. I never used to like washing my face and now I do it twice a day. The smell and the texture are divine and make this cleansing time feel like a trip to the spa.
The first thing I do every morning after washing my face is spraying this moisturizing mist on my face. It does not have the same consistency as traditional mists, it’s a bit more like a gel. And once you rub it on your face you feel like you are in a rose garden.
3- Coconut Balm Dot Com - Glossier
A lot of people don’t get the hype around this product but I love it for two things: 1) the matte yet hydrating finish 2) the amazing coconut smell. I bring it with me everywhere and use it every single day.
4- Sensibio H2O Make-Up Removing Micelle Solution - Bioderma
A classic product I have been using for years and repurchasing many many times. It’s the only makeup remover that is gentle on my skin and it is perfect for double cleansing or to use on its own. I love traveling with it or using it to feel refreshed.
5- Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream - Sisley
To be completely honest, this product is VERY expensive (I got it as a gift). But it is amazing! The lightweight texture is perfect for layering other products, it smells divine and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and glowy. I absolutely love it and I will be gutted when I run out of it.
What are your holy grail beauty products?
** Edit note: After re-reading my post I realized I completely forgot to include Premium Supreme Mask by Lierac, which is definitely a holy grail.
