I cannot stop thinking about my bank holiday weekend, it was everything I needed (except for the dangerously hot weather). And because I’ve been lacking inspiration for blog posts recently, I thought I would share the highlights of it with you.

I finally moved into my dream apartment last weekend, and although I expected the process to be very stressful and time consuming, I managed to bring everything over and unpack before noon. I finally feel like I have a home, and I think the place reflects my personality very well. I might dedicate a post to my room, but until then I’m just going to tell you how much I love my dark blue wall!

Un dîner à la française

Saturday was also quite fun because one of my French colleagues invited me and a friend to join her and her friends for dinner in her garden, and let me tell you… French people know how to do it! We ate bread and cheese, drank wine, and laughed a lot. She even put fairy lights on the trees in her garden!

Coco’s Tea Party Book Club

To conclude my bank holiday weekend, I went to my first ever book club, organized by Ella from the blog Coco’s Tea Party, to discuss Three Women by Lisa Taddeo. There were six of us, all strangers, and we had such a lovely time. It put me out of my comfort zone, but it was absolutely worth it.

How was your weekend?
