01. When in doubt, wear a headdress

If you love the MET Gala as much as I do, you must have noticed the "headdress" trend for this year's "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" gala. To be fair, wearing a fancy headdress might not be applicable for everyday outings but I think it's a cool accessory to wear for special events. Think Blair Waldorf 2.0.! Sienna Miller's headdress was very subtle and chic and I think it would look amazing with a bohemian dress. I've made a collage of my top 3 outfits which all incorporate some kind of head accessory. Little fun anecdote: I posted on my Instagram stories that my fav look from the MET Gala was Tabitha Simmons in Dolce & Gabbana and she replied with a heart: swoon!!

02. The weather has such an impact on my mood

We've recently been blessed with the nicest weather and also some rain (but it felt like summer rain so I loved it). I realized the positive impact it had on my mood. Leaving earlier to walk to work when the sunshine is out or seeing the sun set later at night makes me so happy. And the best part is that I don't have to wear a coat or boots anymore and I just want to sing to show how joyful it makes me.

03. Embracing the fact that I'm a morning person

One thing I find incredibly challenging is that not many people around me are morning people like I am. I tried to fight it and go to bed later but ultimately I will always wake up around 6:30-7:00 and I cannot fall back asleep. Since the beginning of the month I've really been trying to embrace it and see the benefits in waking up early. I've gone for walks by the water, spent time in bed watching YouTube videos, read books with a nice cup of tea... Mornings are so calm and depending on my mood I can either be productive or just take time for myself. It has now become my favourite time of the day!
