Hello you lot! This week has been exactly what I needed to put me in a spring mood. I've been able to wear a dress without tights, and also got soaking wet from the rain when I forgot my umbrella on one of my lunch walks, how amazing is that?! I've also started incorporating more spring/summer transition pieces like these Cougar sneakers which I showed in a recent post. The oatmeal color is seriously my favourite at the moment as it goes with everything. Their lightweight design makes them super comfortable as well. The other piΓ¨ce de rΓ©sistance is this stunning Mango linen jacket which I spotted on two of my blogger faves: Lucy Williams and Lindsay from Ropes of Holland. I've been lucky with it so far because it doesn't crease as much as other linen pieces, I think it has to do with the satin lining. It's also a nice change from my leather jacket, which I believe everyone is tired of seeing.

I paired these two items with black culottes and lace slip cami but it would look amazing with a pair of thick (white or cream) wide leg cropped denim. It's something I find is missing from my summer wardrobe as I only have one pair of white mom jeans and I'm constantly reaching for them. Another item I would like to add to my spring/summer wardrobe is a nice pair of lightweight pleated culotte trousers. Aritzia has a really beautiful pair, but I don't feel like spending that much.

Can you see the theme I'm going for here? Lightweight materials, oatmeal colors, pieces that are versatile but with a touch of elegance to them. What are your favourite transition pieces for spring and summer?
