So as you know, I just came back from New York. Whilst I was there, I filmed a vlog. I didn't get much footage so I decided to also make this post where I would document the places that I've been to with a few pictures. You can find all the places that I would recommend here:

FOOD

FIKA - I'm a lover of the fika tradition, and so I was excited to try this Swedish coffee shop chain. I don't drink coffee, but their cinnamon bun and tea was delicious. Also, the interior decoration is beautiful, and the vibe really relaxing. I would spend all my mornings there. There are also multiple locations. - 380 Lexington Av.

THE BUTCHER'S DAUGHTER - I went to this vegetarian restaurant (that is mostly vegan) at their Nolita spot. It surprised me because I'm not a vegetarian, but I had heard a lot of things about it, so I decided to go. I had the avocado toast with kale chips, and it was DE-LI-CIOUS! - 19 Kenmare Street

TREEHAUS - This restaurant was right next to my hotel, so I went there a few times during my stay. It's like a buffet with healthy and yummy foods. The breakfast was delicious there, I picked up fresh fruits and a croissant, but they had loads of things. I heard that they also make poke during lunchtime. I didn't try it but it looked delicious! - 830 3rd Av. corner of 51st St.

STAY

POD 51 - I stayed at the Pod 51. They had an incredible rooftop terrace, clean rooms, nice staff, and amazing location. I had a very mini room, but I didn't need more than that as I was alone. It was also very affordable for what it offered. - 230 E 51st St. corner of 3 Av.

VISIT

THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART - It was the first time that I visited this museum, and couldn't be happier about my visit. It's an enormous museum with different art styles, so there is something for everyone. I also saw 'Manus X Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology' the exposition of the costume institute in collaboration with Vogue. The clothes that were presented were very special, and it was just beautiful. Highly recommend it. - 1000 5th Av.

THE FRICK COLLECTION - I said it on Instagram: This was the most beautiful museum that I've ever been to. Anthony Van Dyck's paintings were very interesting and the museum itself has an amazing history. My favorite part: The central room with the fountain. - 1 E 70th St.

THE APARTMENT BY THE LINE - This store in the heart of SoHo is very unique. The concept is that you are visiting a very stylish apartment, but you can buy anything. It actually feels like you're peeking into a fashion designer's home. The clothes are stunning, and the design as well. Most of the things are really expensive, but this place is worth the visit! - 76 Greene St. 3rd Floor.

Hope you liked my vlog and my city guide! Leave any of your favorite NYC spots in the comments! Love. S.
