I'm not gonna lie... I despise winter. So every year, I try to make this season better by cozying up in my house and just taking time to relax, get inspired, and be comfortable inside (homebody talking here). I rounded up a few of my cozy winter essentials so that you can also get ready to face winter...
1) A Comfy Robe
This is pretty much my ultimate winter essential. It's perfect for when I get ready in the morning, while I watch videos at night, or for the whole day if there's a snow storm. This one is from the online store Sparobes, and it's the softest thing ever! The brand has a large selection of luxury robes that all look super cozy.
2) Warm Boots
Because I live in Canada, a good pair of boots is necessary. Over the years, I realized that I did not want to compromise on my feet getting cold. These ones are from Cougar, and they can keep my feet warm up to -30°C. I love the fur and the small pops of colour.
3) A Good Skincare Routine
In the colder months, it's important for me to be constant with my skincare routine as my skin gets very dried and is more sensible. Some of my favourites are the Korres Saffron Elixir serum, the Estée Lauder Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick foundation (first foundation that actually works on my skin), and the Lierac Premium Crème Soyeuse Anti-Âge Absolu.
4) A Good Book
Let's face it, the only thing that I ever want to do in winter is read books and watch movies. My two book recommendations would be 'The Book of Hygge: The Danish Art Of Living Well' by Louisa Thompson Brits, and 'Nordicana: 100 Icons of Nordic Cool & Scandi Style' by Kajsa Kinsella. Funnily, both of these books have to do with Scandinavian culture, and they are all about getting cozy during winter.
5) A Cup of Tea
I love tea, but I'm very boring when it comes to tea selection. My first choice is always Earl Grey (try it with a drop of vanilla), but I love to drink the LØvely Morning by LØv Organic.
