Sorry for the radio silence in the last few days... I am back! Today I'm sharing with you my seasonal staples that will facilitate the transition from comfortable fall to "too cold to bear".

Cashmere Jumper

I've been on the hunt to find the perfect cashmere jumper after mine shrunk in the wash a few years ago. If there's one thing I associated with cold weather, it is the soft and dreamy feeling of a cashmere jumper on my skin. I've been lusting after this classic crew neck number from Everlane. I love that their team is transparent with the pricing (they provide a chart with all the costs) and I also love their enforcement of ethical values with the production of their pieces.

A Good Skincare Routine

I cannot even describe the effects of seasonal change on my face. Which is why I have had to re-think what I use to make sure my skin stays hydrated. I love The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid formula that is not only super affordable but also extremely effective. Hyaluronic acid is becoming the magical ingredient that we see everywhere and I have to say that it is working for me. Before applying it, I always make sure that I wash my skin first with Glossier's Milky Jelly Cleanser. You should also apply moisturizer on your skin after applying the formula to make sure it is locked in. The ideal pre-bedtime routine!

Indoor Activities

We have to admit it, it's hard to go outside and enjoy it when the weather network says it's -20'C (unless you are a pro at skiing). Which is why you have to find a fun activity to do inside. I love a good old book with a cup of Earl Grey tea, but I would like to change it up this year. I'm considering taking pilates classes, learning how to do pottery or getting a membership card to the public pool. I'm still undecided but I know there are plenty options out there!

What are your cold months staples?
